Microsoft announced earlier this week that the Windows 10 version 21H2 will be reaching the end of updates on June 11, 2024. This end of support date applies to the below edition that were released back in November 2021:
Windows 10 Enterprise 21H2
Windows 10 Enterprise multi-session 21H2
Windows 10 Education 21H2
Windows 10 IoT Enterprise 21H2
Starting in less than 3 months from now, these edition of Windows 10 21H2 will no longer receive Security Updates from Microsoft. Microsoft will be advising all customers to choose one of the following upgrade paths to remain supported:
Update their device to the latest version of Windows 10 (Currently being Windows 10 22H2 Build 19045.4170 ending service in October 2025) or
Update their device to Windows 11 (Current latest version is Windows 11 23H2 Build 22631.3296 ending service in November 2026)
We strongly recommend all our clients and friends to ensure their Windows Operating System is a supported version by Microsoft. Leaving PCs with unsupported Windows versions, will make them vulnerable to new viruses, malware, and other security threats. These vulnerabilities can lead to data breaches, loss of sensitive information, and even severe disruptions to business operations.
